SEEDING

In northern Europe, sowing is done in spring and southern countries and South America, before winter. In the regions where the winter is mild autumn they are also grown in less fertile ground and provide considerably more grain and yarn product. Flax is grown on land spray. The grain is covered in favor of a heavy harrow tines, and the floor if the surface is too light is given strength by means of a roller.

ROTATION

With respect to rotations, it should be a gap of 6-8 years between two crops of flax on the same ground, because their roots lineína secrete a toxic substance. Although exceptions can be made to land with an extraordinary fertility (both in South America and in Odessa in Russia, you can be harvested flax every year, but the conflict is the "bacterial load" of plagues that grows exponentially and in certain areas Holland and the Vendee in France the same).
However it is always advantageous to improve the lands vary seeds through a good rotation, as is done in Belgium and alternate crops wheat, oats, flax, clover, potato, etc., making each seed born only once during rotation.
